This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website (the “Site”) and any related services, including Google Sheets add-ons (“Services”). By accessing or using our Site and Services, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not access or use our Services.

Our Site and Services are not directed toward individuals under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age depending on your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

If you access our Site or Services from outside Australia, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in Australia or other locations where we or our service providers operate. By using our Services, you consent to any such transfer of information outside your country.

Google API Services and Limited Use Disclosure

This section explains exactly what Google user data our Google Sheets add-ons access, what we do with it, who it is shared with, how it is protected, and how long it is kept. It covers The Bulk Sheet Wizard, The Case Wizard, The Dropdown Wizard and The Stock Wizard.

What data we access

Spreadsheet content. Every one of our add-ons reads and writes the spreadsheet you are using it in, and only that spreadsheet. They use Google’s spreadsheets.currentonly permission, which is limited to the file the add-on is open in and cannot reach any other file in your Drive.

Your Google account email address. The Bulk Sheet Wizard uses it to check whether you hold a Premium licence. The Stock Wizard uses it to label who recorded a stock count, a delivery or a write-off in that spreadsheet’s own Movement Log, so a shop owner can see who did what. The Case Wizard and The Dropdown Wizard do not use it at all.

Your settings. Add-on preferences, such as your shop names and your trial start date, are stored using Google’s own properties storage, which is attached to your Google account.

How we use that data

Only to run the feature you asked for, at the moment you ask for it. Nothing else. We do not use Google user data for advertising, for lending decisions, for profiling, or to build any product other than the add-on in front of you.

Who we share it with

The Stock Wizard, The Case Wizard and The Dropdown Wizard share nothing at all. These add-ons make no requests to any server we run or anyone else runs. Everything happens inside your own Google account. The Stock Wizard checks its licence keys mathematically, inside your spreadsheet, with no internet connection involved.

The Bulk Sheet Wizard sends one thing. Your email address goes to our licence server so it can be checked against our payment records held by Stripe, our payment processor. That is the only Google user data that ever leaves your account, it is used only to confirm your licence, it is never sold, and it is never passed to advertisers or data brokers.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer it to data brokers. We do not transfer it to any third party for advertising.

Artificial intelligence and machine learning

We do not use Google Workspace user data, raw or anonymised, to develop, improve or train any artificial intelligence or machine learning model. We do not send Google Workspace user data to any third-party artificial intelligence or machine learning service.

How we protect it

Spreadsheet content never leaves your Google account, so it stays protected by Google’s own security. The single email address sent by The Bulk Sheet Wizard travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection to a server with restricted access.

How long we keep it, and how to delete it

We keep no copy of your spreadsheet content, ever. There is nothing on our side to delete.

Your settings live in Google’s properties storage inside your own account. Removing the add-on from your Google account removes them. Deleting the spreadsheet deletes anything the add-on wrote into it, including the Movement Log.

For The Bulk Sheet Wizard, we do not store your email address at all. When the add-on checks your licence, your address is passed to Stripe, our payment processor, to look up your subscription, and it is discarded as soon as the answer comes back. It appears briefly in our hosting provider’s standard request logs, which are deleted automatically after 30 days. Records of your purchase are held by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms. To ask us to delete information we hold about you, email thewizard@thesheetwizard.com and we will action your request within 30 days.

You can withdraw all access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/connections, which cuts off every permission immediately.

Limited Use

Our add-ons’ use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This applies to The Bulk Sheet Wizard, The Case Wizard, The Dropdown Wizard and The Stock Wizard.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will post the updated Policy on our Site and update the “Last Updated” date at the top. Your continued use of our Site or Services after such changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
